The Saba Marine Park
surrounds the entire
island from the highwater mark to a depth of
60 m (200 feet), including
the seabed and overlying
waters. Saba is a dormant
volcano that rises steeply
from the ocean therefore,
depths of a 1000 feet
and above can be found
within half a mile from
shore.
