Ranna Maari Recipe

Back in the days the name Ranna Maari was the name of a sea monster that would come from the ocean according to a folklore . Hence I used this name for the dish because the dish consists of different types of seafoods .
Ingredients
Mixed Seafood - 250 gram
Maldavian Chilli - 2 nos *
Pandan Leaves - 2 inch
Ginger Paste - 1 tsp
Onion - 1 nos
Curry Leaves - 7 nos
Maldivian Curry Paste - 4 tbsp
Tomato Paste - 2 tbsp
Fresh coconut milk or coconut cream - 10 tbsp
Method
• Slice onion , Maldivian chilli and mixed seafood
• Place an adequate pot or pa on stove , put oil and heat it up
• Add onion , curry leaves , pandan leaves , Maldivian chilli saute until it gets brown
• Add garlic and ginger paste then cook for a while
• Add tomato paste and Maldivian curry paste then cook for a while
• Add the mixed seafood and cook until tender
• Add fresh coconut milk and cook for 3 minutes
• Serve with roshi and rice
Salt and pepper to taste
