Born in Kan ’ duhulhudhoo , located in the beautiful Huvadhoo Atoll , Maldives , Chef has always wanted to be an inspiration to his family and friends . His journey was difficult , however , after his parents passed away when he was very young . That ’ s when he found happiness through food . After experimenting with different cuisines , flavors and spices , he found his true passion : cooking traditional Maldivian dishes . The support of those around him built his confidence along his journey to become a chef . He considers himself fortunate to have worked in many prestigious resorts with talented chefs . After spending more than half his life trying to make a difference , he created his own brand , The Chef Mode .
