Jani feels that if a business has put in the time and effort to make a place accessible give them the money . It is a win-win situation for everyone involved . If they do not promote

Jani feels that the future for people with disabilities is looking good . They are no longer viewed as people in the corner looking for a handout . Many people with disabilities are working and earning and they have money to spend . Jani states , “ if you build it , they will come ” and she gave an example of a resort that developed a website which provided measurements of their hotel rooms to accommodate people in wheelchairs . This marketing expanded the resort ’ s business greatly .
Today , Jani lives in Brazil with her second husband and enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren . She continues to promote SATHS ’ mission around the world and is a tour de force in the disability community .
