Miss Wheelchair
In 2019 , I participated in the first inclusive beauty pageant in my country obtaining the title of Miss Wheelchair Guatemala 2019 . Following this , I was accepted into the Miss Wheelchair World 2022 pageant .
I am motivated by the desire and eagerness to demonstrate the potential , strength and capabilities women have developed in any field . I want to empower women and eliminate social exclusion . Though the spaces of inclusion are becoming more visible and I wish to use my participation in this pageant , to continue breaking the schemes and paradigms and make this a more inclusive world .
As a final message , I would like to emphasize that we should all dare to shine . People assert that we are not machines and therefore we can overcome obstacles .
If you tell yourself that you won ’ t be able to do something , you surely won ’ t do it . It ’ s not because of those that try to limit us but because of our own will . It is crucial to believe in your strengths and capabilities and above all to motivate yourself to overcome the objectives or goals you have set for yourself .
You only need one thing to do everything you set out to do ... and that is willpower .
