NO SOLICITATION REQUEST( DOOR TO DOOR)
Effective immediately, Ordinance no. 15-6 will go into effect for Westwood residents regarding door-to-door soliciting and canvassing for the sale of goods or services. Upon the request of any resident, the Borough will prevent such solicitors from soliciting at their home.
The Borough will put into effect a“ No Solicitation List.” Any solicitor or canvasser applying for a permit within the Borough, will be given an up-to-date copy of this list, and all residents on this list will not be contacted.
Please be aware that this ordinance does not pertain to non-profit organizations and therefore, they will be able to continue to solicit. Residents wishing to be added to the“ No Solicitation” list, please complete the application and email it to the Clerk’ s Office at mparente @ westwoodnj. gov or drop it off at the Municipal Complex.

SUMMER CONCERT SERIES
The Bandstand in Veteran’ s Park is the place to be on Thursday evenings at 8 p. m. in July. Enjoy some of the most talented bands in the area. Bring your chairs and enjoy the entertainment! Concerts are as follows:

‘ SUMMER MOVIES IN THE PARK’
The Borough of Westwood will present“ Movies in the Park” during the month of August. Movies will be shown Thursday evenings beginning at approximately 8 p. m. in Veteran’ s Park by the Bandstand. The schedule is as follows:
Aug. 3 – Finding Dory( 2016) PG Aug. 10 – The Sandlot( 1993) PG Aug. 17 – Hairspray( 2007) PG Aug. 24 – Pete’ s Dragon( 2016) PG
In the event of rain, the movie will be shown on Friday. Free popcorn will be available for the entire family! Bring your lawn chairs and blankets.

SUMMER CAMPS OFFERED
The Westwood Recreation Department will offer a variety of camps this summer at the conclusion of its Summer Playground Program. Camps will be held Aug. 7-11 at the Westwood Community Center unless otherwise noted. Registration for Westwood residents began May 1. Don’ t miss the summer fun! The following camps are being offered:

TENNIS LESSONS
TGA Premier Tennis of Bergen County will have trained USTA instructors teach the newest and latest techniques in a fun and engaging environment.
Classes are full of high energy, physical fitness and educational components. All equipment is provided by TGA. This three-week session will include the following classes held at McKinley Park on Mondays and Wednesdays, beginning on July 10. Fee: $ 105.
Beg / Adv. Beginner Grades K-1: 4 to 5 p. m., Grades 2-4, 5 to 6 p. m., Grades 5-8, 6 to 7 p. m., Adults 7 to 8 p. m. Registration for Westwood residents began on May 1. Non-residents are welcome to sign-up for all programs for an additional $ 25 fee after May 8.
