When Huey Lewis and The News takes to the stage on The 80s Cruise, Guests will be transported back to the days when the band’s chart-topping hits dominated the airwaves and defined the soundtracks of their lives. Now in their 35th year, the rock ‘n roll mainstays continue to thrill audiences and have sold more than 20 million albums in the process. Key to the band’s success is its unique sound – a combination of musical influences including R&B and Soul – accompanied by frontman Huey Lewis’ distinctly rich and textured voice. Audiences will revel in hearing live renditions of band classics such as “The Power of Love,” “Heart & Soul,” “Stuck With You,” “I Want A New Drug,” “If This Is It,” “Hip To Be Square,” “Do You Believe In Love” and “Workin’ For A Livin’.” Lewis also is expected to bring some bluesy tones to the performance with some harmonica solos.
