Survivors are unsure of how much time the redevelopment should take, taking into account the extent of the damage, injuries sustained and loss of manpower. Their largest concern is currently to rebuild their homes to shelter them from the blazing rays of the sun, and from their newest cause of worry: the sea. Olokun’s most recent actions have showed everyone the true nature of the waters, and they now know it is not a force to be reckoned with. Alongside this fear, however, comes a newfound respect for the mighty oceans and the power of the Orisha.
A source in one of the towns tells us that some survivors have been discouraged by how quickly all of their progress was destroyed. How they see it, all their efforts will be in vain, with the Gods having the power to take it all away as they please. Nonetheless, others stay hopeful in these times of darkness and have already begun cleaning up the mess and attempting to regain a sense of normalcy after such a tragic incident.
