The Englewood Public Library is hosting a series of events this fall to mark its
50th anniversary. “History of the Library’s Architecture” will be held Saturday, Sept.
22, and “Englewood in the 1960s” will be held Sunday, Sept. 23. A 50th anniversary
reception featuring refreshments and live music will be held Sunday, Nov. 4, and a
family-friendly birthday party complete with a live performance, arts and crafts, and
games for children of all ages will be held Thursday, Nov. 8. The mission of the
Englewood Public Library is to provide resources that enhance and contribute to
individual knowledge, enlightenment and enjoyment, and maintain and improve the
quality of life for all citizens of the community. For more information about these
