Prevent seasonal flu
For the 2019-2020 flu season, the Englewood Health
Department partnered with Walgreens to provide free flu
shots for those with and without health insurance. The
team administered vaccines at Shiloh Church, City Hall, the
Englewood Library, the Montessori School, and throughout
the Englewood Public School District. The Health Department
also held its annual Child Flu Shot Clinic, making it easy for
parents to vaccinate their children. On Nov. 23, the Englewood
Health Department and the Englewood Hospital held a joint flu
shot clinic to help vaccinate residents in the Korean community.
If you would like to receive a free flu shot, contact Claudette
Murdock at 201-568-3450 ext. 511. From left are Claudette
