of Suzi-K Designs. Her designs drew inspiration from
the “ambitious rollercoaster of chasing after your
dreams” which transformed her collection into transitional assortment of casual, resort and evening wear.
The closing designer of the show was Roux May who
officially launched January 2015. This well established
emerging designer combines androgynous tailored
trend pieces for a comfortable and transitional
collection that will suit both a casual and professional
wardrobe.
Their collection is bold and unapologetic with bold
prints and constructed garments that fit off the body.
Definitely a designer to keep an eye on for pushing
the boundaries of trend ideas!
Overall, this year’s MBFF offered a wide range of
talented designers and epic designs. Trends this season
to look out for are colour blocking, the 1970s and
statement prints! Cannot wait to see these looks
