Redcliffe Kitefest

Pelican Park transformed into a bohemian
playground for the annual Redcliffe KiteFest
Pelican Park once again don a spectacle of
colourful kites of all shapes and sizes and a
massive program of entertainment for the
2015 Redcliffe KiteFest.
Now in its 19th year, the Redcliffe KiteFest
has become the highlight event of the now
3 weekend long Redcliffe Festival. With
over 40,000 visitors revel in a weekend of
international kite displays, live entertainment, ballon-Arium, hundreds of specialty
arts and craft markets, aerobatic displays,
kite making workshops, amusement rides
plus a number of new additions to the
2015 program.
Even if you are not a kite lover, the spectacular display of gigantic kites hovering
over Kitefest last weekend was a treat for
everyone.
However the celebrations didn’t start on
Saturday, but kicked if on Friday night with
the Kitefest Hit 105 Laneway Gig featuring
