You spend weeks preparing for the summer holidays and then it’s gone in a ?ash! Well, after a busy summer of day trips to the beach, excursions to London and several toddler attractions under our belt its good to be back into the steady routine of packed lunches, early nights and family fun at the weekend. This month sees a variety of exciting events happening in and around Pinner. The little ones and I have this summer turned into avid theatre goers. Well, I say avid, we have seen a few shows over the summer including ‘Going on a Bear Hunt’ at the Lyric Theatre, twice! It is a brilliant adaptation of the much loved book by Michael Rosen, a Pinner local, and it is on until September 8. So to continue on our cultural development I have spotted a play that will entertain the little ones in September. On at the Harrow Arts Centre, ‘Fireside Tales with Grandad’ is a tale of Grandad’s daring escapes from a hungry shark! With enchanting puppets and W captivating storytelling, it’ll be a delightful show to spark the imagination of everyone from 4 -104! For a fun packed family ?lled event for all ages, the Pinner Rotary Club are hosting the Pinner Village Show on September 14 in Pinner Memorial Park. With attractions ranging from a children’s fairground with a bouncy castle, a miniature railway for those steam fans and many more activities for all to enjoy, including craft stalls and the all important homemade cake stall. Hope to see you there. Now for us mummies.
