What to eat?

Going through Huasca de Ocampo will whet your appetite and fortunately you will be able to enjoy the gastronomic delights of the place, including tacos de carnitas, mol de panza, mushroom broth, pambazos, chinicuiles and escamoles, but for nothing in the world to try the pastes (similar to puff pastries or volvanes, depending on where you come from) there are different ingredients and they are delicious. You must also try the trout in one of the thousands of ways that the inhabitants offer visitors.

How to get:

If you live in Mexico City you must take the Mexico - Pachuca highway for the Green Indians, the journey takes about one hour. Once in Pachuca you will find the Tec de Monterrey on the right side and on the left side of Liverpool, you will immediately see the Miguel Hidalgo road distributor, which you must take on the side to get on Blvd. Colosio, follow the signs that lead to the junction to the Highway of the Mountain Corridor. On the Corredor de la Montaña highway, follow the signs to get to Huasca de Ocampo. If you are going to travel by bus, from the Pachuca truck station you can take a taxi or bus to Loreto, and in front of the Benito Juárez Market, there is the collective base to Huasca.
