The 2000s are filled with changing times and ideas much different than any previous decades in history. We see a growing nation that shifts to a more technological era opening doors to a new world. We see the first African American president representing the long path civil rights has taken in our country. We see a cultural revolution where extremes aren't that extreme anymore. Ask Miley Cyrus about that one or even Colorado where marijuana is legal. It is true time changes everything, but with these historical times it has shaped me and society forever.
