Global Education and European Teaching Strategies
2018-1-ES01-KA101-049441
At Rahlgasse, there are pupils from
different origins such as Syria, Afganistan,
Egypt and they can attend optional
language support lessons to improve their
competence in German.

CLIL at Rahlgasse
Teachers do not implement CLIL methodologies but they do teach
several subjects in English.
From their point of view, they do not need to implement specific
methodology to help students with the language, as their
competence in the foreign language does not require so. This is a
matter to be discussed upon, as it is not clear to me if they are on the
right track.
Music lesson 1C
This was a very participative lesson in which
the students learnt different rythms in a very
interactive way and sing along songs dealing
with global topics and self-confident
messages such as “love yourself” or Adel
Tawil "Lieder"
The teacher showed great professional skills
at planning the activities and managing the
classroom to motivate and engage the students Active learning in the music lesson
in the lesson. It is remarkable the creation of short
moments of mindfulness used in transitions between activities.
The students loved these playful moments of
quietness and built a positive atmosphere
towards learning. Students also showed full
responsibility to keep the classroom clean
according to their assigned roles. This was a
good strategy to
show the students the
importance of living in a clean environment and
help to achieve the school mission.
