What would you say is the most difficult relationship to maintain? One with my enemy, my Judas. I know I’ m saved I am so convinced because it has been tested with my enemies; the ones that say they love you. If I love you, I love you, I love hard, I’ m genuine, I can love you but it hurts to be betrayed, I’ m human, I have feelings Jesus suffered in the flesh, but its lonely at the top. because people don ' t celebrate you doing something good. My hardest relationship is with my enemy.
Every relationship goes through transitions, how would you advise others to successfully move forward so that their relationships flourish?
Acceptance, we have to learn to accept we are different. Once we celebrate and accept our difference we can appreciate others who come from different backgrounds.
What are some major differences you see in the earlier generations v. s. this generation regarding our relationship with God.
I see a major difference. I got saved on January 1, 1978 and at that time, there was a reverence for God. I saw people with the respect for the house of God, his man and the church of God. Now they church hop more. A lot of Gods so called elect have let people down by preaching one thing and living another and people began to be antsy.
Out of all the hats you wear, which two would you say are your most rewarding roles?
Being a wife and a mother, have been the most rewarding. I am also a dean of a school, a church administrator, sisterhood chair, and counselor.
What legacy do you want to leave for those who come after you? My role is to teach others. I love the book of Titus for that reason. Time is too short to be foolish. I want them to learn to work while it is yet day, its about the work and let the life that I live speak for me and be led of God, God is doing a new thing. I want to teach others by my lifestyle to work for the kingdom, Its about souls and soul winning. I want them to supersede me. There are more of us so when can do more.
If you have one hour to teach the younger generation of women three things what would those three things be?
How to love God, how to love themselves, and how to love others. A lot of our young women don ' t love themselves, when you love yourself you don ' t have as many hang ups.
In your own words what is your definition of love?
God is love, I was searching for love and I didn ' t find it until I got to know God. Love is a choice you don ' t wake up one morning and say I am in love its a God conscience decision to love.
