Taking Your RV Through
The Zion-Mount
Carmel Tunnel Requires
A Permit
There is also a fee associated with traveling through the Zion-Mount
Carmel Tunnel in your RV. Before trying to make it through this narrow
street, you must measure the RV and purchase a permit. Doing so is
necessary since park personnel has to interrupt the flow of traffic to
accommodate your rig.
The cost is $15 at the park entrance. It is in addition to the fees that you
already pay. The good news is that the $15 price is good for two trips
through the tunnel within seven consecutive days. Therefore, you do not
have to pay extra when you leave the campsite and return home.
