Where Do I Shower?
You are planning to stay at Zion National Park. Besides that, you will be
camping in a tent or car. Because there are no showers, it is easy to
worry about basic hygiene. Do you have to jump into the river in the
hopes of washing off the worst of the dirt?
Actually, nearby Springdale offers pay showers to campers who despair at
the absence of in-park showers. If you do not have a recreational vehicle
that accommodates showering, plan to hop on the shuttle that will take
you from Zion Canyon to Springdale and back. It allows you access to the
picturesque Zion Canyon Scenic Drive. Besides that, the shuttle is free.
While this may not be an ideal option, it is most certainly a workable
solution for the long-term camper in search of a hot – or cold – shower.
