5. Do not leave the IT team on the
outside
This is an immediate consequence of the
previous tip. Try not to fall in the trap of
excessive simplification and placing the
automation project wholly in the realm of
business initiatives. The members of your IT
team are the ones who can help you make
the right choice of the RPA tool for your
specific objectives. Moreover, for a smooth
road towards the expected benefits, you
need to be able to count on the technical
expertise of the IT department whenever
unexpected issues or malfunctions occur.
