SK has also increased its recognition in relationship with the National government and the
Counties hence being able to influence the selection of commissioners of the National Land
Commission (NLC), which is drawn from the National Land Policy of 2009. The mandate of
the NLC include among others to manage public land on behalf of the National and County
governments.
In realization of the lack of awareness on the land laws, ISK has been conducting land clinics
and additionally published a guidebook on all laws of land in Kenya.
