THE PORTRAIT WRITER TELL US ABOUT YOU ANS: I am a writer, singer, motivation speaker and a home based business owner in the network marketing industry. A graduate of medical laboratory science from the University of Calabar, Nigeria, a wife and mother of 2 sons. HOW DOES THIS WHOLE CAREER STARTED... (WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR CAREER OR HOW DOES THIS GOT STARTED)? SHARON IFEPARIOLA ADEGBOYE WRITER, SINGER, MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER, BUSINESS OWNER ANS: I come from a generation of writers so most times I wonder if writing for me is hereditary, lol. I love to write, as an introvert I prefer to write than to talk so growing up I wrote more. One other thing that inspired my writing is the fact that I love to motivate and inspire so whenever I go through a trying time, I either write about it or sing about it, this is how I wrote my first published book titled The waiting period at the age of 24. YEARS OF WRITING... (HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WRITING?) ANS: I have been writing since I was a teenager, I wrote short stories and poems but my first published book was in 2009 so 10 years now SRTV Classic Magazine 18 TALK US THROUGH SOME OF YOUR BOOKS ANS: My first book titled waiting period was written while I was waiting to gain admission into college and despite me having the best result in my local government, I did get admission on time so I wrote the book to encourage those going through a “pause” in their life. My second published book titled Through it all is a book I wrote a few days after I lost my 4days old baby, I was writing this book and crying, the tears started reducing while I wrote daily and Its an encouragement to those going through a stormy time in life. “ What inspires me is purpose, my burning desire to help others become a better version of themselves. - Sharon Ifepariola Adegboye
