What Is It?
Peer pressure is when someone is being forced to do something or be a certain way with others. Peer pressure is something that everyone experiences when they are with other people. It usually occurs to children when they are at school, but it happens to everyone of all ages.
Challenge Statement
Students were not educated by others about peer pressure at a young age which has lead them to consider it as ‘normal behavior’. Many students/young people don't know how to identify it which also causes them to not know how to deal with it.
