One of Ms Lucas’s biggest campaigns is for a peoples
vote on Brexit, claiming “All of us know so much
more now than we did in 2016, and a People’s Vote
would be your first chance to vote on the facts”. She is
also an advocate for clean, affordable energy. Mr Kyle prioritises investing in businesses, new
housing and education. During the referendum, he
travelled the south east campaigning for remain. He
thinks we should not leave without a deal that does
not negatively impact jobs. Former nurse Maria Caulfield is an advocate for
protecting and improving NHS services for local
residents. She is also campaigning for better road
and rail links for Lewes, including working towards
securing £75 million to improve the A27.

Mr Russell-Moyle is passionate about LGBT+ rights
both in the UK and in Europe. He is also pushing for
the development of vaccines for the HIV virus. He
was the vice president of the European youth forum
as well as doing work for the UN
Eastbourne Liberal Democrats
Eastbourne’s current MP helped in securing the £85
million development of the Arndale centre. He is
also a part of a group fighting to save the Eastbourne
General Hospital from downgrades to services. He
stands against fracking on our national parks.

he deadline to register to vote is 26 November
at 11:59pm. You can register online at https://
www.gov.uk/register-to-vote with your national
insurance number.
You can also register by post. You can find the forms
either through your local Electoral Registration Office or
at https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/register-to-
vote-paper-forms.
You can vote in person, by post, or by proxy.
You need to be registered in the area where you wish to
vote in person. Before the election you will be sent a poll
card, which will state the location where you are able to vote.
If you plan to vote by post you must apply no later than
5pm on 26 November if you live in England, Scotland or
Wales and 5pm on 21 November if you live in Northern
Ireland. You don’t need to provide any reason for voting
by post. You can find the form at https://www.gov.uk/
government/publications/apply-for-a-postal-vote. Send the
completed form to your local Electoral Registration Office.
You may vote by proxy if you are away on polling day,
have a medical issue or disability, or if you are not able to
vote in person because of work or military service.
