UNCONSOLIDATED STRUCTURED ENTITIES Unconsolidated structured entities refer to structured entities that are not controlled by the Group. The Group’s transactions in these structured entities are for investment opportunities as well as to facilitate client transactions. The Group’s maximum exposure to loss is primarily limited to the carrying amount on its balance sheet and loan and capital commitments to these structured entities. The following table summarises the carrying amount of the assets and liabilities recognised in the Group’s financial statements relating to the interests in unconsolidated structured entities undertaken by business segments.
