Rats and mice began to run
Till the aroma of Biriyani came in my imagination
Saliva rushed in my mouth
Dampening my prolonged hunger.
Then we moved to the Shepherd’s hill
The Golconda Fort, rising abode
The mother of mountain of light
Where the claps under the fort
Reverberates my drums and will continue till my eyes lit.
With the back drop of setting sun,
Golden orange reflections on the great Hussain Sagar
Wooed us to visit the Mighty Buddha
On the rock of Gibraltar
Captivated our hearts and instilled devotion.
Finally with sky painted black
Stars began popping from streets
That spellbound moment stunned us from Moula Ali hills
Till the reality peeped from dark skies
Bidding farewell to the memories with friends.
With lots of love
