The first hotel that pioneered the start of modern Turkish tourism in our country is the
'Istanbul Hilton', established in 1955 as a result of an agreement between the Turkish
Government and the Hilton Company. It continues to serve in accordance with international
standards and its marketing is carried out with Hilton Reservation System all over the world.
There are different views and different approaches to the classification of hotel businesses.
For this reason, each country has gone to a separate classification by taking into account the
characteristics of its own hotel businesses. Accommodation establishments in our country are
legally classified as follows.
