A PRAYER

Be strong and courageous , because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them . Be strong and very courageous . Be careful to obey all the law My servant Moses gave you ; do not turn from it to the right or to the left , that you may be successful wherever you go . Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips ; meditate on it day and night , so that you may be careful to do everything written in it . Then you will be prosperous and successful . Have I not commanded you ? Be strong and courageous . Do not be afraid ; do not be discouraged for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go . ( Joshua 1:6 — 9 , NIV )
Father , we thank You for leading YWAMSG over these last 40 years . Thank You for leaders , staff , students and friends throughout the world who have participated in the YWAMSG story . Thank You for the foundations that have been laid through pioneering leaders . May YWAMSG be strong and courageous in this next season of pioneering . May you not draw back . Let prayer and intercession continue to be raised as a shield to surround , protect and cover you as you move forward together into new ventures . Let the word of the Lord be strong . May you lay hold of every prophetic promise to YWAMSG . May all generations and cultures move forward together in humility , love and unity . May YWAMSG be a people who always seek Your face and demonstrate Your character . May YWAMSG be like a multi-faceted diamond that reflects who the Lord is through every aspect of service .
May these next decades of ministry build on the well-laid foundations of previous generations . May each YWAMer be overwhelmed by Your love and consumed with a fresh desire to know You deeply . May each one encounter You in the place of prayer and intercession , and from that place of encounter , Lord , would You lead with clarity . May new leaders , new staff , new expressions arise from Singapore . Be strong and courageous , YWAMSG ! A new season is before you !
Dave and Sue ’ s experience in YWAM extends for more than 40 years , working across the body of Christ locally , nationally and globally . They have been involved in pioneering and establishing new missional , operating centres primarily in the Asia Pacific region , and engage in the training and mentoring of young leaders . They are currently one of many global convening Elders in the YWAM movement .
