And the Winner is… Netherlands!!!
A little while ago, Duncan Laurence the representative of Netherland to the eurovision 2019 in Israel won the contest with the song he wrote “Arcade”.
A year ago, Neta Barzilai our Israeli representative won the eurovision in Portugal and brought the contest to Israel.
Every year the eurovision contest is hosted in the country which won the competition the year before. This year the eurovision was in Israel.
The Israeli hosts of the competition were: Erez Tal, Bar Refaeli, Assi Azar and Lucy Ayoub. The contest started on the 14th of May with a show by Netta Barzilai and after that the contest began with 41 countries.
After the semi finals, 26 countries got to the finals. The countries which led in the Betting tables for winning in the eurovision were: Netherland, Russia, Italy, and Switzerland, while Israel was in the 25th place.
After the thrilling finale and great shows, Netherland was announced as the great winner of the eurovision, in the second place was Italy with the song “soldi”. The victory of Duncan Laurence from Netherland was accepted with cheers and appreciation for the great performance he gave in the fainals.
Next year the contest will be hosted in Netherland. Will Israel win the eurovision next year?
