Lovely Conversations
Fatima
On the 18th of November,I got the opportunity to
meet the shining stars of Bahria Special Children's
School. The first person with whom I had a small chit
chat session was Fatima that I thoroughly enjoyed. We
gossiped about everything and while doing so I didn't
feel as I was meeting her for the first time. It seemed as
if we were friends from a long period of time. I got to
know that Fatima's favourite sport is table tennis and
that she is really good at playing it too. Like every kid
these days, she loves watching Frozen, after which
came the time when we fangirled over how cute Olaf is.
She couldn't stop talking about Elsa's sparkly dresses
and here I thought that no one could  like Elsa more
than myself,but I was wrong. When we started talking
about my most favourite topic, food, she exclaimed
excitedly that one food item that she can eat all the
time is Daal Chawal, making me like her even more. I
had a lovely time with this cute little girl with such a
bubbly personality.
Even though this little angel  is
diagnosed with Down
Syndrome, it doesn't prevent
her from living her life to the
fullest. It actually gives us
inspiration to not let our
disabilities define us and stop
us from doing what ever we
want to achieve in life.
