Asil and Emre are close friends. They are going to a birthday party this weekend. It’s
Ayşegül’s party. She is Emre and Asil’s classmate. She likes different ideas. She wants to
celebrate her birthday as a 80s costume party. Asil and Emre meets for shopping.
Asil: Hey buddy! how are you doing?
Emre: Hi Asil. I’m so excited. I don’t have an idea about 80s.
Asil: Nor do I. So what are we going to do?
Emre: I think we should call Ayşegül and request an idea?
Asil: That’s a good idea. I’m calling..
(Ayşegül answer the phone)
Ayşegül: Hello Asil. How are you? Are you ready for the costume party?
Asil: No, We have no idea about 80’s. We need your help.
Ayşegül : Hımm. I see. Women’s clothes are really very colorful . Shiny pink, orange green
leggings are favourite. Hairbands and colorful high heel shoes are necessary.
Asil: But we need men costumes.
Ayşegül: I know, you are very impatient. Men costumes are very very large. Pants are getting
wider towards lower part. Jackets are large and long. Shirts are very colorful just like
women’s costume..
Asil: Oh my god Ayşegül. It seems to be a very fantastic party.
Ayşegül: Oh yes, And Nello, Alessia, Luca and ………………….. are coming to my party. I wonder
their costumes.
Asil: Me too.Thanks, see you.
(They go to a clothes shop)
Emre: Hey Asil. Have a look at that shirt. It’s very colorful.
Asil : Oh I like it. Excuse me! Do you have that shirt in medium size?
Shop assistant: Let me check for you. Here you are.
Asil : Where can I try on it?
Shop assistant: Dressing rooms are over there.
Emre: And May I try these pants but the smaller ones.
Shop assistant: Of course. Here you are.
Asil : I like this shirt and these green pants suit me.
Emre: I wanna try on that jacket, the purple one please.
(They try on and decide to buy )
Cashier: That shirt and these pants are 55 euros How do you want to pay?
