CLIMATE CHANGE ALSO IMPACT OTHER SPECIES

Climate change has never only affected human and nature. There has huge negative effect for other species. Species can be broadly divided into two parts, plants and animals. All influences are connected.

The effects on plants by climate change which is crops cannot be normal growth. The potential impact of climate change on the world’s food supply, according to Cynthia and Martin (1994) that a doubling of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere would dramatically reduce global food production. Next, global warming means an increase in temperature in the world.

The higher temperature made the uneven distribution of rainfall in the world and the natural disasters, such as droughts or heavy rains which are increasing by global warming. The simulation experiment from the International Rice Research Institute (1997), a 1℃ rise in the minimum temperature in the evening could reduce the rice harvest by 10%. All of the effects of climate change on crops will also happen on other plants. Lack of the right temperature will cause more plants to go extinct.

Climate change has polarized the past and present.
