Third pupil exchange in Greece
Young people from 5 countries met in the 12th Acharon Gymnasium in Athens. It was already the third meeting, which was made possible by Erasmus+. On the exchange students worked in English and German groups. They solved tasks, wrote a script and then practiced vocabulary from Learning Apps. Greek partners prepared for us classes on Robotics and Technology. We all had the opportunity to get to know the Greek culture. We visited the Poseidon Temple, which is located near the port town of Lavrio, as well as the Athens Aktopolis. The architecture of ancient buildings and sculptures made a great impression on us.
We also took a boat to Hydra. On this wonderful island there is a ban on vehicles, including public transport. The only means of transport are donkeys. An important element of integration was also the involvement of parents. They prepared for us dishes and colourful cakes, which were connected with the European Day. On the last day of the exchange we had the opportunity to see the change of guard in front of the Athens Parliament. We also walked along narrow, charming streets. We are convinced that this meeting will be remembered forever.
