Steppe Side
Steppe side is a spot with an incredible history. In 2002 Pontus Alv with friends started with building a spot called Savanna Side. The year after homeless and drug addicts started to occupy the same area. The spot went out of control. As stated in the video Strongest of the Strange-
Our autonomous zone turned into a community for outlaws, junkies and other vagrants. The one thing we had in common that we were both side stepping todays strict society by occuping this old factory fondation.
The spot was shut down.
And that has got to build Steppe Side in only two months of work. The Steppe Side was growing for about 3 years, but in 2007 it was all smashed again. In 2010 new plans were made for Steppe side and building begun again. On the pictures around you can see how the spot looks like today. And it is still growing.
