Dear Association Members,
We have kicked off our 40 th Anniversary year with a bang so far! I am looking forward to continued membership growth and retention as well as increasing the industry knowledge of our members by offering educational classes and trainings. The past few months we have taken a leap of transitions with the Association by moving the office to Harker Heights, updating and revamping our website. The Central Texas Home Builders Association welcomed us with open arms and has provided an office space desirable, as we continue to plan for our future.
The Association just completed another successful Trade Show. I want to congratulate the Trade Show Committee on their outstanding planning efforts and commitment to our members in helping to make this year’ s show one for the books!
Fall is just around the corner and we have some exciting events being planned. Jackie Ramstedt will be putting on a Fair Housing Seminar for all on-site employees. We also have our Annual Golf Tournament in November planned. On behalf of the board this year, we decided to use the tournament to hold our 2 nd Annual PAC Fundraising Event. Half of the proceeds collected at the ball drop during the tournament will be contributed to the winner and the other half donated on behalf of our Association to the PAC Fund.
I strongly encourage fellow members that are interested in joining a committee to reach out to Amanda, our Association Executive for further information. It is my honor to serve this year as your President, please contact me if you have any suggestions or new ideas to help grow our Association.
