Letter From Our President
Dear Members of SACC-Philadelphia,
It has been my pleasure and honor to serve as President of SACC-Philadelphia. We hope you enjoy reading our latest edition of our Year-In-Review(“ YIR”), which high lights several successful events and activities from 2016.
These events include out Technology Event – an event where we heard business leaders from Comcast, SCA, Briteback and Ericsson speak on using technology to more effectively communicate and drive business.
Other events include our Crayfish Part, our Young Professional International Happy Hour, as well as our annual Glögg Holiday Mixer. You will also be introduced to our most recent 1 crown member Briteback, and you can read about the story of Patrik Lönn Design and Securitas and discover how they became so successful.
This past year our Chamber also selected Larsson & Scheuritzel, PA to receive our 2016 Business Entrepreneurial Award. This annual award was created in 2010 by SACC-Philadelphia. The award seeks to recognize companies that have made a significant contribution to the exchange of trade and commerce between Sweden and the Philadelphia region, as well as important contributions toward corporate social responsibility and sustainable business practices.
SACC-Philadelphia is thankful for having hard working and contributing interns from Swe den with our Chamber in 2016. These interns included Jonas Aronsson, Emma Nilsson, Linn Johansson and Maria Didner. Our internship program has continued to be a valuable experience for our interns and the Chamber. We look forward to welcoming our new interns in the beginning of 2017.
Finally, I would like to thank our members for your continued support.
David W. Engstrom President, SACC-Philadelphia
