My first Magazine | Page 21

Here’ s the page that can be somewhat intimidating! The TIMELINE! I know this isn’ t the most exciting aspect of the wedding day, but this is the one thing that can make or break your photography! These next two pages will outline an ideal wedding day working off of a 2:30 ceremony timeframe. This is an ideal timeline based on a traditional Ceremony with no First Look. If you’ re interested in doing a First Look for your Wedding day, I have included timline adjustments we will need to make in the next few pages! Remember that all wedding days are different, and your timeline may differ due to travel times and unique situations.

Groom Time 2:00-2:15

You and your groom are all ready to go! If everything has gone according to plan, this is a fantastic time for you to collect your thoughts, pray with your bridesmaids or spend a few minutes chatting with your groom before the ceremony( we’ ll keep you hidden of course!). If we’ re running behind schedule a bit, this time serves as a cushion for the rest of the day!

Ceremony 2:30

If your groom is getting ready in the same location( or close by), I’ ll try and give you a few moments alone with your ladies while I capture a few portraits of him getting ready! I usually just ask him to put on his jacket and fasten his cufflinks. If you have a gift for him, I’ ll definitely be there to photograph that as well!

2:00-2:30 Bride in Hiding

It’ s time to get married!! Most ceremonies are 30-60 minutes long. If your ceremony is longer than 30 mins, we’ ll make adjustments to the timeline! Cherish these moments! Your ceremony will pass by so quickly! Please let me know if you will be dismissing your guests from your Ceremony or plan to greet them with a receiving line as that will definitey affect the timeline of the day!
