Batman is a fictional superhero that appeared in America in comic books in the age 1940 published by Detective comics. The character was the artist BoB Kane and the first appearance of Batman in detective comics was in the Golden Age, a period in which comic books became more popular with the concept of superhero.
The decor of 1940 was not extravagant but was very sentimental. Rich reds, greens and yellows were favored for the interior of the home while natural tones were saved for the exterior. The geometric shapes of the previous decade were overlooked in favour of bright florals. Carpeting became more affordable and it was also preferred. During this century the homes were small and the focus of the home was placed on family so people could comfortably spend time together.
