• The purpose of this Law is to guarantee the exercise and full enjoyment of rights and facilitate the fulfillment of the duties of every child and adolescent in El Salvador , contained in said law , independently of its nationality , for the purpose of which a National System for the Integral Protection of Children and Adolescents is created with the participation of the family , the State and society , based on the Constitution of the Republic and the International Treaties on Human Rights in force in El Salvador , especially in the Convention on the Rights of the Child
