TASK Partners with Tata Strive
On 3rd February 2017 , Tata STRIVE and Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge ( TASK ), signed an agreement to partner on coaching the college lecturers and to offer youth skill development courses based on industry-specific needs . This will help in increasing the teaching impact and increase employability of youth in the state , particularly in automotive , BFSI and BPO sectors .
Tourism & Hospitality Skill Council ( THSC ) launches SkillGrid Digital Platform
SkillGrid was unveiled by Arun Nanda , Chairman of THSC , in the presence of industry and training partners . This is a pioneering initiative by THSC , a strong step towards achieving the objectives of ensuring job opportunities to skilled candidates . SkillGrid currently has over 5000 candidates who have completed or currently undergoing training across Job-roles and states , available for the Tourism and Hospitality Industry to engage .
Airbus signed a Memorandum of Understanding ( MoU ) for establishing a Centre of Excellence for aerospace skill development in Hyderabad , together with the Telangana Govt ., National Skill Development Corporation India and AEROCAMPUS France .
MSDE and WOF partner to offer online entrepreneurship education , Under the Pradhan Mantri YUVA Yojana , the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship ( MSDE ) and Wadhwani Operating Foundation ( WOF ) have partnered to offer Online Entrepreneurship Education . About 15 lakh youth will benefited through online and experiential learning .
Centum Foundation , the CSR wing of Centum Learning partners US-based Global Reach Out ( GRO ) to skill the deaf and hearing impaired youth in India . This was announced in an event held in Delhi on February 23rd .
