the tension of our mind. After all, the charm of a flower lies in its contradictions:
it is so delicate in its shape but strong in its scent, so small in size but big in beauty,
so short in life but with a long memory. And haute couture precisely celebrates these
wonderful contradictions with passionate love, giving us masterpieces of high tailo-
ring, absolutely sublime and unforgettable, just like a flower. In the new
collections, many haute couture dresses are like many wonderful flowers
blooming. Ethereal, delicate, poetic. And, instead of on a runway, it is as if
they were in a nice field, each kissed by a ray of sunshine. In fact, in a field hun-
dreds and hundreds of flowers are tuned to each other as if they were a single
large orchestra that, on the same musical pitch, plays the quietest music. Yet if
we listen carefully, everybody can hear it. This is the case for the new Haute
Couture collections that have played for us a music full of poetry and romance.
