With this Doherty became the youngest ever supplier to a major supermarket chain. His SuperJam jars were now being shipped to over 2,000 supermarkets around the world including Australia, Russia, Denmark, Finland, Ireland and South Korea. SuperJam witnessed great success and was also exhibited at the “National Museum of Scotland as an Iconic Scottish Brand.” He also came up with three different flavours of it – Strawberry, Blueberry & Blackcurrant and Raspberry. Thus, ‘SuperJam’ became a unique brand on its own. Doherty was the first ever winner from outside North America to win the “Global Student Entrepreneur of the Year” award. He was covered by number of magazines for his achievements. He was a host to accolades by many prestigious awards such as “Supernova’s Brightest Young Business Award”, “Smarta 100 Award”, “Start-ups Young Entrepreneur of The Year” and “British Inspiration Award” to name a few. Doherty branched out his jam venture into housing tea parties for elderly people. It was for the people who lead lives in solitude in care homes or in sheltered housing. It hosted scores of events across the UK, featuring live music, a wee bit of dancing accompanied with scones, tea and naturally lashings of SuperJam. Doherty is also the co-founder of Beer52, which has grown rapidly to become one of the Britain’s largest craft beer clubs with ambitions to replicate its success in a number of overseas markets. Apart from pioneering the SuperJam, Doherty is also the “Entrepreneur in Residence” at London Metropolitan University, where he delivers the lectures and speeches on how to cut it in the big bad world of business. Well, the boy from Edinburgh did not stop just there, he also started writing. His first book was “The SuperJam Cookbook” which reveals the jam making secrets. The one that followed was “SuperBusiness” – a book featuring his story and everything he has learned about and last but not the least “48-Hour Startup” which is all about business and its strategies. Fraser Doherty also contributes in a magazine named Ferment – the biggest and THE DREAM BOX largest circulated publication on the booming craft beer in the country. Doherty loves travelling and has travelled 60 countries till now. With the love for adventure, he describes his life an amazing adventure which taught him many things. He loves his life and is always grateful to his mother and granny for the best recipe without which he would never have achieved such fame. Well, Doherty with his impeccable knowledge and perfection made this happen and showed everyone that nothing is impossible in this world. With the positive thoughts and belief he tasted success at a very tender age of 14.
