Inspiration theologically means anything that bears a special in�uence of divinity on the minds of human beings . My life , my struggles , the challenges I faced had the same impact on me , making me a better and stronger person . So I feel need to share this story with others as well . After having passed from a convent school ( Holy Child School ) and graduated in Economics from a reputed N o r t h C a m p u s c o l l e g e ( M i r a n d a H o u s e ) , I w a s awaiting what life had in store for me …. then I fell in love . After several hardships , giving up my studies & career , I got m a r r i e d t o h i m b u t m y matrimonial journey was tumultuous . . . . . . . I suffered a lot both physically , emotionally and mentally ……. This despite being educated ( since my husband had a terrible phobia f o r h i s f a t h e r ) . I n e v e r complained thinking that ours being a love marriage , it was my problem and I had to resolve it myself . My sor rows kept penting up and led me to suffer from BMD ( BIPOLAR MOOD DISORDER ) and suicidal tendencies . Then one day I put my foot down . I resorted to litigation . Thankfully my husband was by my side . This litigation went on for the next 14 years . To pressurize me to take my complaint back , several counter cases were �led by my in laws against me ….. but I was not deterred . Since 2000 , I have been on treatment for BMD , faced all cases boldly . The volley of challenges that I had to face made realize my latent potential and zestfully , I went a h e a d w i t h m u l t i f a r i o u s activities and won several accolades for my work in the �eld of education .
MY ENDEAVOURS AFTER H A V I N G B O R N E T H E BRUNT OF CHALLENGES .
Despite being a chronic patient of BMD , I went on to face the litigation courageously and pursued and accomplished the following after my marriage :
• Completed M . A . in Eco .( 1st div ) & regular B . Ed ( 87 % )
• Worked as an Incharge and PGT Economics in a West Delhi school for seven years
• P u b l i s h e d a b o o k o n phonetics
• Worked in the capacity of Organizing Secretary for the conduct of National Judo Championship in 2010 .
• A c t e d t h e C e n t r e Superintendent of NIOS in 2012 .
• Was a visiting faculty in some r e n o w n e d i n s t i t u t e s o f Delhi ( TIPS and All India I n s t i t u t e o f L o c a l S e l f
G o v e r n m e n t ) t o t e a c h Economics and MBA ( Business Economics , Project Evaluation , Consumer Behaviour , Srategic Management , Organisation B e h a v i o u r , M a n a g e r i a l Economics , Human Resource Management )
• Did translation work for esteemed universities for books on Sikh history
• Helped professionals with their Ph . D thesis ( Three in the �eld of Education and one in the �eld of Psychology )
• Did freelance voice over and editing jobs
• Have been running kids ' camps in summers at very nominal charges
• Attended workshops & seminars to polish my skills further & keep abreast of the times
• P r e s e n t l y I a m t h e Founder / Owner of my own Coaching Institute ( GENIUS EDUTORIAL ) and a Creativity Centre .
• Conducted several Faculty Development Programmes and S t u d e n t E n r i c h m e n t Programmes in school where I worked .
• Have been organizing several free of charge workshops and seminars for the students of Genius Edutorial ( both in house and by hiring resource persons from outside ) to guide the students about career , time m a n a g e m e n t , s t r e s s m a n a g e m e n t , m e m o r y techniques , value education etc )
