When you reach the top… KEEP CLIMBING My sincere thanks to the Career Guidance Service in Bray. I initially contacted the KWETB Career Guidance Service in 2005 and have received support and guidance ever since. I started a course in Graphic Design in 2005 in BIFE but I found I was not particularly suited to this course. With the guidance and support of Catherine Greene (Career Guidance Counsellor), I began a Social Studies course at QQI Level 5. I was awarded student of the year in completion of my QQI level 5 and this inspired me to go ahead and pursue an honours degree in Social Care in IT Tallaght. There were issues with the maintenance grant which proved difficult to overcome at the time. Lourdes Delaney, the Information Officer was a wonderful support and did her utmost in helping me in regards to allowances. I found employment working as a social care worker last year in a service for people with Autism and Mental Health Disorders. I am a 52 year old woman currently studying for a Master’s degree in Mental Health in Trinity College Dublin after having experienced many adversities along the journey. The Adult Guidance Service in Bray has been a tremendous help on my journey through Further Education and Training. I wish to thank you sincerely for all the time, effort and guidance Kind regards, Noeleen Nealon Are you considering doing a course, changing your career, do you need guidance?
