I came back to education to work on my
reading, writing and maths. Returning to
learning opened up a whole new world for me.
Working in groups with other students really
helped my confidence. I love the friendship and
support of the groups. I now have QQI awards
in Communications, Maths and IT. I also found
the confidence to try things I would never
have done before. I am interested in history
and I can go online now and read all about it. I
have also taken part in drama workshops and
joined the student committee in the Centre.
I would say to anyone thinking of going back
to education to take that first step and call
your local Further Education Centre.
You never know where the journey will take
you and how much you will enjoy it!
