GM Message
Dear Colleagues,
It’s been now 5 months I have reached Chiang Mai and joined
this wonderful Family. I cannot express enough my gratitude
for having been all so patient and accommodating while I was
staying on property with my family and for having embraced us
so heart fully. We always say that a hotel is made by its
people and, here as well, I have no doubts to confirm this.
Our customers are consistently reminding us daily through
their reviews how true this is, by recognizing your genuine and
sincere engagements. Khun Franz has handed over to all of us
a well-established property and I would like to take
this opportunity to thank him for his great contributions,
and wishing him all the best for his future endeavors.
The past six months have shown, for the first time
since the past few years, a decline in tourists arrivals into Chiang Mai, putting more pressure on
our business and ultimately on the achievement of our goals. Nonetheless, tactful strategies
together with a tight expense control management have helped us to secure a positive GOP.
In such extremely volatile landscape, it is extremely important that we all adopt a nimble
attitude and keep exploring every unturned stone. We are not anymore in the “one size fits all”
industry and we must be continuously hungry for business, more than ever, without
compromising on quality.
The recent sad events of London and Paris, along with the escalation of worldwide terrorism,
remind us that no place in the world can take safety for granted and it is crucial that we all
play a pro-active role in securing our premises all the times. DON’T leave it to your colleague! If
you SEE something, SAY something. We all have the responsibility to guarantee the safety and
security of our colleagues and guests.
Last but not the least, this is the year our beautiful hotel will celebrate his 10 th anniversary, and
a number of initiatives are going to be launched within the next months. I wish here to
acknowledge those colleagues who have been with us since its opening and who have been
loyal to the company.
I believe I have said enough by now  and I look forward to another even more successful
second part of the year.
