4. Inter school co curricular activities
Inter-School Dance Competition
It was a spectacular day for MRIS-Sector14, Faridabad, as the folk dancers
of Grade VII and VIII won Second position in ‘Miras’, an Inter School Dance
competition organized by MVN School. The MRIS- Sector14 dancers looked
beautiful in their Kalbeliya Dance costumes. They danced with grace and poise
using various props. The enthusiastic dancers were praised for their
synchronized dancing steps and choreography. That apart, Royallika Ahuja of
Grade III brought laurels to the school by winning at a District Level Fancy
Dress Competition wherein she represented the Soul of a soldier dreaming for
a peaceful world. She was awarded by Sh. Chander Shekhar, Deputy
Commissioner of Faridabad and it is her third consecutive win in a row.
Basketball Junior NBA Delhi - NCR Championship
The Basketball U-13 Girls, Boys U-13 and U-16 teams participated at Junior NBA
City Championship organised by IMG reliance and Junior NBA. The event was held at
Bharti Public School, Nirman Vihar, New Delhi on 3rd February, 2017.The U-16 Boys
team won their first two matches against Bharti Public School and Jindal Global
School, Greater Noida. The U-13 Girls team won their 1st match against Jindal
global school in 3x3 event.Tanishka Bhugra, Akanksha Bhatia won the hot-shot
competition event by converting the maximum baskets in 30 seconds. This was the
first Junior NBA experience of our teams at such a huge sporting event.Basketball
U-13 Girls team at Junior NBA Delhi-NCR Basketball Championship with the
