UV protection fabrics are rated between UPF 25-39 . Ultraviolet protection factor ( UPF ) measures blockage of UV-A and UV-B rays . A UPF rating of 25-39 means thatt our fabric allows 1 / 25th to 1 / 39th ( 2.56- 4 %) of UV radiation that falls on the surface of the fabric to passs through it . Thus , 96- 97.4 % of UV rays are not allowed to reach your skin thereby protecting the skin from sunburn and long term skin damage .
