Non-Feminists say? ?
Are you a feminist?
I tend to take a neutral approach. Frankly speaking, I
am not a feminist, and I do by no means wish to step
into this movement. Even though human rights is
one of the most basic ideas that I embrace, being an
observer is my choice for now.
Have you ever realized the differences
between men and women?
Yes, I have. From the culture I grew up with, I have
always been told that women should stay at home while
men should be the breadwinner. There’s certainly a lot.
Do you agree with gender equality?
I do agree. However, I believe that the perfect balance
will not likely to happen, meaning that struggle will
always be there.
Do you think feminism is related
with men-hating?
I think this kind of radical idea is mostly
generated from feminism. I totally understand
the cause, but its presence scares me. I think
people are afraid to relinquish their status
and society. For anti-feminists, they refused to
give in their power and they fear the changes
feminists might bring.
Do you think society needs
feminism?
If a society demands amelioration, then
changes and improvements must be made.
Feminism is just one of these efforts.
