Wemmys Advice for Watching the Footy
The state of origin, Friday night footy, Saturday night footy, Whether you look forward to them for over a year or you're counting down the seconds in the week to Friday and Saturday night when you can watch the footy with the boys, Here's some advice we all need coming from the boys that know it all.
Fletty: (The pub) The pub is my tradition for watching the NRL, the atmosphere at the pub is great all the boys cheering for our colours and even if it's not the team you go for it's always a fun experience. Its also great because you are bound to see someone you know that you can watch the footy and sip a cold one with. The state of Origin especially really get the pubs fired up, If there is ever a missed call or anything everyone will be outraged and yelling, But when they get a try the whole pub goes off and you can hardly hear your own yelling and cheering. So my advice for watching the footy is head down to the local pub and watch it with the community. there.
Lanko: (have the boys over) The best thing that I personally do for the NRL is have all the boys over and there families, We all have a few to drink and attempt to devour as many pies as we can whilst watching the grand final, last year I had 8 and my dads mate Phil had 12 pies in one game of footy, This is now the family and friends tradition and happens every year we call it the Grand Pie-nal. For me and the family there's nothing better than having the mates over and having the annual Prand Pie-nal.
